Tartan Green topsides and Tanbark sails sets GREEN BEAN apart from her sisters. Her brightwork has had yearly maintenance by BBS, and is in excellent shape. Though she sees a lot of use, she has be gently handled by her owner. Equipped with a Streamlined Torqeedo electric motor, you need not worry if the wind fades. The custom Triad trailer allows her owner to transport her home or boatyard and serves to store the hull safely over the off season. DD 352 is currently covered and stored for the off season at Ballentine’s Boat Shop. Her yearly maintenance has not yet been completed after her season and it is suggested before the next launch.
The Doughdish is a fiberglass reproduction of the original Herreshoff 12 1/2 footer. It is constructed in foam sandwich fiberglass with teak trim. It is built to the exact hull dimensions and rig of the sloops designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1914. As a result they are able to compete against the wooden boats in class races and regattas.
She is currently at Ballentine's Boat Shop in Cataumet, MA, and available to be seen by appointment. Please contact Amy or Matt at via Email for more information about this listing or to schedule an appointment for viewing. Or call for Amy or Matt at 508-563-2800.
